  • Education

    During my graduate studies in Architecture and Interior Architecture at the University of Oregon, I honed my fine sensitivity for color and form.

  • Art

    For me, abstract painting is the natural progression of taking the key skills of my architectural profession one step further in order to express moods and atmospheres, using only form and color, and freed from the restrictions that are deemed normal for architectural design processes.

  • Technique

    With brushes, spatulas and squeegees of different sizes, I use several sessions followed by necessary drying periods to apply up to 15 layers of paint to each canvas. The colors and forms created in the previous steps are covered fully or partially with new layers of paint, as well as resurfaced partially by scraping and scratching away the top layers.

Commissioned paintings

For commissioned art work, you may select the size of the paintings and the main hues and values you wish to be dominant in your painting. In the course of each original creation, the final expression, the forms and additional colors of the painting will be determined in the process by me, the artist. To ensure your work of art suits your chosen environment, I may suggest for your commissioned painting the main colors befitting a certain setting ranging from rooms, apartments, and houses to offices and other spaces that aim to express a philosophy. Ultimately, we can work together to develop a signature piece that suits your designated interiors and settings.
